Unsere Studienreise im 3. Ausbildungsjahr führte uns nach Appenzell in die Bibliothek von Andreas Züst. Dort generierten alle 23 Studierenden während vier Tagen Bild- und Textmaterial. Meine Aufgabe bestand anschliessend darin, dieses Material zusammen mit Konversationen über das Lesen und Bücher im Allgemeinen in einer Publikation zusammenzufügen. Mein Layout setzt sich stark mit dem Raum der Bibliothek auseinander. Dichte und Luftigkeit, wie man sie in der Bibliothek selbst wahrnimmt, verbinden sich in meinem Buch. Geordnet ist das Bild- und Textmaterial nach den verschiedenen Bücherregalen.

Our study trip in the 3rd year of training took us to the “Andreas Züst” library in Appenzell. There, all 23 students generated image and text material over four days. My task then was to put this material, together with conversations about reading and books in general, in a publication. My layout deals strongly with the space of the library. Density and airiness, as perceived in the library itself, combine in my book. The image and text material is arranged according to the different bookshelves.
