Respekt. Ein grosses und wichtiges Thema. Was bedeutet Respekt in unserer Gesellschaft? Mit dieser Frage setzten wir uns auseinander. Ich untersuchte das Thema «Wegsehen» bei Mobbing mittels Fotografie. Mobbing ist heute mehr denn je ein Riesenthema. Die Aussage «Wegsehen heisst mitmachen» inspirierte mich dabei. Das grosse Schweigen rund um die Mobbing-Thematik ist eines der grössten Hindernisse, um Mobbing gezielt zu stoppen. Meine Fotografien zeigen die Ausgrenzung, die Unsicherheit, das Unverständnis, die Isolierung und das Wegsehen. In einem analogen Prozess gestaltete ich anschliessend eine Zeitung und kombinierte die Fotoserien mit Typografie – um alle zum «Hinschauen» zu bewegen.

Respect. A big and important topic. What does respect mean in our society? I explored the issue of "looking the other way" in bullying through photography. More than ever, bullying is a big issue today. The statement: "To look away is to participate" inspired me. The great silence around the issue of bullying is one of the biggest obstacles to stopping bullying in a targeted way. My photographs show the exclusion, the insecurity, the lack of understanding, the isolation and the looking away. In an analogue process, I then designed a newspaper and combined the photo series with typography – to get everyone to "look".
